NWANNEDINAMBA LAW ENFORCEMENT, ARMED FORCES ASSOCIATION, USA INC with the acronym NLEAFA

is an apolitical organization headquartered in JESSUP, MARYLAND, USA. It is the Apex body of Law enforcement officers, serving or retired in any of the Armed forces of the United States. 

Membership in this corporate body shall consist of currently employed and/or Retired/Former Law enforcement, members of all branches of the United States Armed forces, Correctional officers, Police officers, State/Federal cyber security personnel, State/Federal Intelligence personnel or any officer of the court that discharges his/her duty as a law enforcement personnel.

Purpose/Objective

To secure and discuss matters affecting “Ndi Igbo” serving as Law enforcement officers and members of the Armed forces in diaspora.

To secure a closer official, professional and personal relationship among “Ndi Igbo” who are in Law enforcement and Armed forces in the United States.

To secure all proper and legal methods, legislation and governmental action for the welfare of “Ndi Igbo” in Law enforcement and members of the Armed forces.

To act as a mediator in resolving conflicts between members before resorting to litigation between members or between members and the public.

Vision Statement

To promote peace, love, unity amongst members, preservation and promotion
of Igbo cultural heritage and interest; and to foster viable inter-community
relationships.

To promote unity, interest, and to ensure the wellbeing of NLEAFA
members and their families.

Education: Masters Degree in Philosophy. Career: Eighteen (18) Years in Public Safety with the State of Maryland. Law Enforcement Employees Labor & Rights Advocate in the State of Maryland. Founder & President of NLEAFA- A National Law Enforcement & Armed Forces Association of Igbo extraction based in the United States of America.

Achievement:
Through personal advocacy, activism and persistence and in collaboration with the United States Federal Department of Labor, approximately twenty ($20,000,000) a historical “WAGE BACK PAYMENTS” settlement agreement was reached between the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services in “WAGE BACK PAY” from 2021 thru 2024. The settlement was as a result of the illegal TIMECLOCK manipulation that automatically clocked out Maryland State employees who were still present at work and who were still working. The settlement was the first of its kind in the State of Maryland, and the first in United States of America by any law.
